High School

“You too, dear young people, can be joyful witnesses of his love, courageous witnesses of his Gospel, carrying to this world a ray of his light.”

-Pope Francis

High School students have a desire for autonomy, freedom, and respect. They are committed to their extracurricular activities while wanting to be faithful followers of Jesus. With those traits in mind, our program is designed to meet the interests and needs of the students.  We do this by offering small groups at various times throughout the year.

Small groups allow for more growth in community, deeper discussions, and an overall greater faith development. High School students are asked to choose two sessions from the five sessions that are offered for small groups.

Students are also expected to attend an encounter experience*, the Youth Masses, and a service experience.

Please note: It is expected that students entering Confirmation have participated in a small group during their 9th & 10th grade years.

*Encounter experiences are retreats, prayer experiences, or larger events that draw the students into a deeper relationship with Christ.
