As the Pastor of St. Gabriel Parish, I am blessed to lead the people closer to God through the Sacraments of the Catholic Church: Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick.
Jesus challenges all of us to go and make disciples of all God’s people. Therefore, we are called to be our best selves, to be like Jesus. He suffered with the leper and the sick child and the blind man. He did what he could to meet their suffering. We may not be able to work miracles as Jesus did, but we can be there for others when they are alone, hungry, or afraid. We can give a supportive word, a cup of
coffee, a smile, a word of praise, etc. These might seem like small, petty actions when we think of the troubles around the world, but they can make such a difference in a person’s day!
As a community of believers, we commit to gathering around the altar of the Lord every Sunday to allow Jesus to feed our hungry souls. Jesus is the living bread come down from heaven. What a privilege to be called to the table of the Lord.
Please consider joining our parish and freely share your God-given gifts and talents with others.
Ephaphtha!
We, the people of St. Gabriel Parish, brothers and sisters in Christ, have as our Mission to PROCLAIM Christ
and make (FORM) disciples through the sacramental life (LIVE) of the Catholic Church,
and to create an environment where all can live out this mission.
